5.    Now as a group, you will write either an e-mail or a letter (your choice) to both The Australian Marine Conservation Society and the Australian Environmental Protection Association (whose websites you should have just visited in Step 4). These e-mails/letters should specifically address the concerns with the recent increase in the jellyfish population in the waters off of Australia and solutions that could be implemented to control these jellyfish blooms. Additionally, your e-mails/letters should propose means by which to raise Australian and tourist awareness of the location and dangers of jellyfish in an effort to keep both Australians and tourists safe.

*You can either choose to address the same e-mail/letter to both organizations or you can choose to write individual e-mails/letters to the respective organizations. (Your evaluations will NOT be based upon whether you choose to address the same e-mail/letter to both organizations or whether you choose to write individual e-mails/letters to the respective organizations)*

6.    Next, you all will work together to create an online posting for the online saltwater forum Living Reefs. This post should address the recent increase in the jellyfish population, concerns associated with the increase in the jellyfish population, and actions that can be taken by individuals to reduce/control the jellyfish population. Additionally, the post should advertise/encourage the use of www.jellywatch.org

7.    Lastly, each group member needs to create a posting (about jellyfish awareness) with a link to www.jellywatch.org and post it on one or more of the following sites: Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, Google Mail, AIM, Yahoo, or another similar website in an attempt to spread the word about jellyfish issues and encourage the use of www.jellywatch.org.
